Virtually Connected Dentistry
Through Virtually Connected Dentistry, we utilize telehealth technology to link allied dental personnel in the community with dentists in dental offices and clinics. Patients can receive preventative and simple therapeutic services in their community as opposed to traveling hours for treatment. This is particularly important when considering seniors, the fastest growing population in our nation who is part of a silent epidemic of dilapidated oral care.
TeleDentistry provides diagnosis and referrals. By having the ability to provide intra-oral photographs and digital x-rays to a dentist, a hygienist will be able to show areas of disease and trauma for diagnosis and treatment planning. It allows us to provide efficient, effective care; helping to eliminate transportation barriers.
