What is a New Year's Resolution?

Wikipedia definition:

“A New Year's resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life.”

Per Forbes, the statistics of people who actually stick to their New Year’s Resolutions are rather grim; 25% are committed for 30 days and only 8% actually accomplish them. Ashira Prossack, Contributor of ForbesWomen, recommends setting goals instead of a New Year’s Resolution. Resolutions tend to be more broad, whereas goals are more specific. When setting goal(s), action steps are put into place to reach the goal(s), which makes them more achievable. Why are you setting this goal? What are the steps to be taken to reach this goal?

Of course I must remind you that if your resolution or goal is to become more healthy, making sure your oral health is taken care of is a very important part of improving and maintaining your overall health.
