Retirement Age, Medicare

Adults are eligible for Medicare at age 65, but there are no dental benefits.

Oral health is important for everyone! It is important for diet, nutrition, self-esteem, socialization, and freedom from pain, among many other benefits. It is unfortunate that Medicare does not include dental care benefits, especially for the people living on a set income, or who are low-income.

*In the Pikes Peak region, the population of 65+ is set to increase approximately 160% and the population of 85+ is set to increase over 330%. This is a national trend with potentially huge ramifications on the local level as baby boomers age in place and older Americans move to be with their baby-boomer children.

That being said, this is a problem/need that will be increasing substantially very soon.

Our program, which is available to all ages, is designed to help this population. We have funds and grants available to help make dental care affordable. If you, or someone you know is in need of dental care, but cannot afford it, give us a call! Colorado Springs (719-310-3316), or in Pueblo (719-542-5300)
