Community Dental Health accepts Medicaid!

Medicaid is a jointly funded, Federal-State health insurance program for low-income people. It covers children, the aged, blind, and/or disabled and other people who are eligible to receive federally assisted income maintenance payments.

Medicaid with dental covers x-rays once a year and regular hygiene appointments twice a year. In addition to those basic preventive services, Medicaid covers fillings and extractions up to $1,000 in dental services per state fiscal year. Partial and complete denture benefits are available in addition to the $1,000 cap per state fiscal year, but they will be limited to one set every seven years and must be pre-authorized.

At Community Dental Health anything over your $1,000 per year benefit will be charged at Medicaid fees if you choose to continue treatment, or you have the option to wait until the next years benefits renew. Checking your Medicaid with dental coverage is a simple phone call to our office at (719)- 310- 3315.
